With the continuous development of the mining industry in Xi’an, there is an urgent need for professionals who specialize in mine hydrology monitoring. The role of a mine hydrologist is crucial in ensuring the safety and sustainability of mining operations by monitoring and managing water resources in and around the mine site. This recruitment is designed to attract experienced and skilled individuals to join our team and contribute to the success of our mining operations.
Position Title: Xi’an Mine Hydrologist
Responsibilities:
Conducting regular hydrological surveys to assess water levels, water quality, and other relevant parameters.
Monitoring and analyzing water flow patterns to ensure safe and efficient operation of the mine.
Providing support for mine planning and design by identifying potential water hazards and making recommendations for their mitigation.
Developing and implementing policies to protect water resources from pollution and ensure their sustainable use.
Coordinating with other departments to ensure effective management of water resources.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as hydrology, environmental engineering, or geology.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in mine hydrology monitoring.
Familiarity with hydrological instruments and software used for data analysis.
Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions about water management.
The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, with a focus on safety and environmental compliance.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and best practices in water management.
The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including miners, engineers, and environmental agencies.
